ADCOM was founded in Chicago as a wireless retailer in 1993. Two months after ADCOM was founded a wholesale department was established to provide other retailers in the Chicago-land area w/ paging equipment, wireless handsets, repairs and services. ADCOM had already gained a strong foothold in Chicago's wireless wholesale market' in an effect to distinguish the retail operations from the wholesale, Management decided to incorporate a separate wireless retail corporation to be exclusively dedicated to retail distribution. Thus, BESTCOM was first incorporated in Belvidere Mall in Waukegan, Illinois in 1998. Between the years of 1998~2000 BESTCOM had added 6 points of retail distribution under five separate corporations. Effectively May 1st 2000 management at BESTCOM and ADCOM decided to merge all five companies into two separate entities. ADCOM was kept to maintain the wholesale point of distribution. All other retail locations were dissolve and reincorporated as BESTCOM Wireless, Inc. Following the opportunity left by the bankkruptcy of TSR Wireless the nation's largest paging carrier at the time, we were able to acquire locations at Fox Valley Center Mall, Brickyard Mall and N. Riverside park Mall. ADCOM start Master dealership program for Sprint from 2004. Also, ADCOM is the preferred dealer of Nextel. | |
